Hey all,

What I got:
1977 Honda ATC 90 w/ 125 rear plastic
Engine is supposed to run but not too well.

Parts missing on it: The recoil starter
side cover (for over the chain & rear sprocket)
air cleaner
hose between carb & airbox

This one is a project and I want to rebuild it, I want it to run awesome, look good and be reliable.

If the head / valves need work can any motorcycle shop do it and does anyone have recommendations on a good shop in the central AZ. - Phoenix area or someone whom I could ship it - OR - is it possible to buy a reconditioned head somewhere?

I also got a spare 110 engine and transmission in the deal (minus the recoil starter, carb, intake)

What options do I have as far as performance enhancing modifications if any?
I have a motorcycle junk yard nearby who has EVERY part, The guy said he had "hotrod kits" for the 90 -110 bikes, he said he had hotter cams and such. You guys heard of this or is he yanking my chain? Do they exist? If so are they worth it?

So working within this criteria, what would you suggest. Also money is no object as long as it don't run too expensive.
Seriously, I would like to do what I can for around $300 - $400 total :wondering

Before tearing into your engine, check the points. Number one cause for getting parked, cheapest fix. Also as they go, the trike gets harder to start.....IE broken recoils. Sounds like you have that situation. The points are located in top of head under black plastic cover. Every part you mention I have. Pm if interested in these parts.

You are gonna need a manual, when you replace points pick that up as well. It will give you the fine detials on checking things.

Performance, check with www.powroll.com

On the spare 110 engine confirm its year, It may interchange with the 90. Your numbers are located on the bottom end, just dont remember the side. Your looking for first 2 years production on 110 Possibly 3rd year. I would have to double check that one.
