where can i get a bigger tooth sprocket for my 200x? all i see on ebay is smaller ones. there were some 44 tooth ones on there and i got one but it is for a quad or something with a smaller axle and 4 holes. it was mis-packaged. so anyone know where i can get a bigger one? i got an 85 200x

I got a bigger front sprocket for my 200x at the local parts dealer. If you want to get it on line denniskirk and rocky mountian atv have many diffrent kinds/sizes.

I went from the stock 11 to a 12 tooth and I think it cost me $8. If I ever get it started I'll let you know.

Dammit!

Stock on a 83-85 200x is actually 12/40. Someone must have put a smaller front sprocket on your X before you bought it.

What is it you're trying to accomplish? A larger rear sprocket will give you more low end pulling/climbing power but kill top speed. Opposite for the front sprocket.

Yea the mechanic said it was for a 200s or m it was a tiny little thing compared to the one that he ordered for me. it must be a 13 tooth then cause he recommended going 1 up for better accerleration. sorry bout the bogus info.
