cobra on 70

how do cobra pipes sound on the atc 70? i have an 85' and i want to get one for it.

All Cobra's sound HORRIBLE.

Stay with Stock, especially on machine like an ATC70.

i have one on one of my atc70's,,,,it's semi loud,,breaths MUCH better. Stock ones are too small diameter. One thing i don't like,,the pipe ends up behind the plastic and so the exhaust bounces off the plastic and makes it louder unless you cut a little radius in it. Mine will run 60mph,,,,,it's worth it. (Pipe didn't make it go 60 by itself) :shock:

What else did you do to it?

well,,the name atc70 is just a name now,,,it's a 92cc with oversize intake,,26mm carb,,long duration cam,, high compression piston,,changed gearing,,converted to cdi ignition which lets it rev VERY high,,and some special private touches i am experminting with. 60mph isn't really to hard to get,,these engines drive a ct70 45mph stock,,,,it gets expensive though,,,we believe we'll get 70mph out of it,,,just gets scary after 55 cause the front end goes wild,,need a better tire on front to get the shaking out. That short wheel base will hurt ya quick!

how about throwing a ct 70 front end on it.. ?
