Best pipe for a 350x???????? I gotta a superT and dont like it

Here is my DG excellerator 3. It's fairly loud but not obnoxiuos. Cant tell if it made a power difference since I never had stock exhu=aust for the bike.

I have a 450r muffler it is not loud but it is way better than stock.

Should i run disc's on the super i dont ......would that make a difference?????????? and if so how many????????????

the more discs you put it the louder it is, mine came with 12 and i left it that way, but 10 i think would good.

thats why u dont like it, u should run plenty of discs, i think 4-6 is like stock power level, and 10+ is way better. I have the dg accellerator and run 13. The supertrapp has a vaccume effect from what i understand, and needs the discs to work correctly, otherwise it's just like a cobra. I think you'll like it after you get discs. What version is it? the race with the aluminum end, or the steel? Someone on here has to have that pipe and can give you a recomendation for how many discs to run.

dennis kirk has em' all day, or check your local dealer, anyone should be able to get discs for you.

Too many and you loose Tq, not enough and it looses hp and is nothin but tq but falls on it's face on the top end. I run 13, my buddys XR 600 runs 13, i tried 11 and hated it, i'd start at 10 and go up, but there is a limit as to how many you'll like, depending on whats done to the motor. Obviously a mod motor will do better with more, but a stocker will only like so many.

I dont run any discs, except when I need a spark arrestor and run run 16 discs. I hate the discs because I loose alot of power. The key is to have your bike jeted to the pipe. If you had it jeted right you would probably love it. If you want to get rid of trailprotrailpro supertrapp ill buy it.

so you just run it with an open end?

do you just take all that stuff off and have a big hole or do you have that special open end cap?

No end cap. Just take off the plates. You gota rember that my supertrapp is diffrent than most yours. Mine is about 3 times longer and has packing As long as the packing in it is good its not too loud. Its much quieter than the dg's.
