Yeah, looks like you would burn the piss out of your leg. Is that permanent or just a temporary pipe?

Its not that bad and the bottom section has a heat guard, but it will be changed. Yesterday morning at 8am that motor was sitting in the Pitboss, I pulled out the ATC70 motor and put the Pitboss motor in and that photo was taken after my first ride at 4pm.
It was a bit of a rush.
The only thing I had to modify was the end of the carby filter housing, I cut about 1" off and thats plastic so it only took a couple of seconds.
The rest of the time was spent trying to work out where to put the battery and all the electrics. Shes electric start.
Im thinking about stipping it now and cleaning it all up.
I had the guy that owned it prior to me have a ride last night.
We couldnt get the smile off his face and he says he is going to buy another one now.
I will put on some better pics later.
Cheers Max.

I will have to get back to you on that, it has the original gearing and the Pitty motor has a four speed box. We had it on the road out front of the house last night and it would have been doing in excess of 40 miles an hour but it wasnt any where near peaking.

so is that a ct 110 motor then? you should run the ct 100 gearing...even tho its enduro it would have enough pulling power for that little bike for sure....not to mention the 65mph would be bad ass

No its not a CT110 engine but its probably based on one.
heres the only specs I could find on it

110CC
Max Power(kw/r/min): 5.2/8500
Max Torque(N.m/r/min): 6.2/5500
Economical Fuel Consumption(Only reference)1.9L/100km
Engine Oil Volume(L): 1.1
Start Mode: ELECTRIC/KICK START
Engine Type: 1-CYLINDER, AIR-COOLING, 4-STROKE
Ignition Mode: C.D.I

This thing has loads of torque and sounds like a harley.

this (http://longwise.com/proinfo.asp?pl_id=15665&m_id=3264) is what the motor came out of.

Hey Max
Thats really neat, my mate up in QLD did a similar thing with his ATC70 only he used a GT70 motor in his, says it goes twice as hard with the new engine in. I have a similar ATC70 here that is waiting a transplant with a 90 motor and 105 piston, just got to get around to it!! Although, come to think of it, the GT110 motor, or any of those chinese clones is a far better fit, can't argue about the electric start either!!

you can buy the whole bike in Brisbane still in the crate for $1,400
So I dont know what you would pay for the motor and electrics.
I brought mine from
Tony Gilbert (patony@dodo.com.au) he was selling them on Ebay.
He did give me a name and number of someone in Queensland that has parts for these but I cant find it.
The Honda motor from a CT110 also has about 7 horsepower but I rang a guy in Perth that buys the ex postie bikes and those motors are $600, not reconditioned and all have around 30,000 kilometres on them.
Cheers Max

Apparently the Australian Postal service uses them until they have that on the clock and then they buy new ones.

The little 70 motor I took out must have had some clicks on it, 31 years old.

Anything that pushs a atc 70 past 25 mph is worth it in my opinion.
