I am working on a 1981 ATC 200. I need a new front fender for it but Maier doesnt make one so I have found one out in the yard that looks to be in very very nice shape. I need to know what I need to do to make this fender look new again, what sand papers to use from start to finish what compounds etc. Thanks in advance Lomax

we have good luck with using a razor blade to cut/scrape the plastic, especialy on flat surfaces. Then we throw a coat of your favorite brand wax on and they look ok.

Fine steel wool to get off sun damage, this works really fast. If you want to take scratches out use 300 - 500- 700 -all the way up to 2000 wet sand paper, and finish with turtle wax polishing compound for a perfect shine like new. But you will be amazed at how fine steel wool will shine it up, and its fast.
