If SPEED could KILL

Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there owns a stock Honda 250R or a stock Yamaha Tri Z 250. Can anyone tell me exactly how fast these stock machines can go when held wide open and topped out? (mph) Thanx.

...A watercooled 250R (85/86) will top out in the range of 70-75mph.

I have no idea on the Z but Ill let you know if someone else doesnt when I get mine. Shouldnt have a problem doing 70 but itll jsut take a split second more to get there compared to the R.

Just a neat fact, that is the one thing that made the 350X faster than the 250 R,,, Top speed brand new, stock,,,, 86 miles per hour,, it took longer to get there but such fun,,, on my old beat up 350X I was recently clocked at 78 mph, on a lake, perfectly level, tires pumped way up,,,, stock gearing though,,,,,

I always thought the 250R would top out going a lot faster than tha 350x, being its a 4 stroke and all. But thats phat. Can anyone tell me how fast a yamaha ytz 250 will go? Peace out and keep 3 wheelin

Can anyone tell me which atc had the best stock suspension (forks and monoshock)??? and does anyone know the distance of travel (in inches) the suspension allowed? thanx. yamaha_rules69

On my TRX86R that was punched out 100 over and a decked head and 22 inch tires, I was hitting 75mph in the 1/4 mile. I had my buddy follow me with his CBR900RR, Im sure it had a little more but Im not to fond of holding a 2stroke wide open for too long.
Now when Im on my ATC86R that is stock it feels way faster but I havent had anyone follow me yet.
As for the 350X doing 86 I dont know, I was on my R and my brother was on my 350X, I stayed with him till he had it wide open in 6th and I was in 5th and dident need to be so I hit 4th stood it up and by the time I hit 6th I had alot of distance on him. Yes I know my X has alot more weight than the average ;) , but I think it will still do 70.
