I don't think it's from a 200x cause I got one in front of me now and the #s are PD on top then 14AA0K I don't think there 29mm either.

200x should have a Keihin PD62A for 83 and PD62B after 83, these are both 24mm carbs, not sure on the later 86 on models though!!

Hmmm? After looking through my boxes of parts I also found a carb that has PD62 an A with a box around it then VF7. Now I'm confused? but still I know it's not 29 mm. Maybe whoever I bought the parts off of lied.

Ya I'm tellin ya right in the middle of the bottom #'s there is an A with a box around it.
thats on both the carbs I have and the carb that is in 400 peices on my workbench. I don't know now I'm just as confused as you are? All of them are KEIHIN though.

it is definatly not a 200x carb. actually it was not a stock carb for any three wheeler. it comes off a dirt bike. if you really want to know what it came stock on i will research that for you.

well i am not talking about anyone just trying to help. i have several bits of info lying around ( well now being married it just takes up one room) the sp/dr book was one of the first ones i picked up. i started thinking more and that is wierd because to me the numbers reflect an older carb. but i could be wrong. if you want i will go through and figure what the carb fit and fax it to you or email you the models. the number you'r giving is a part number. it will not be model specific. there really could be a whole bunch of bikes this went on.

come on. not a 29mm. maybe an xr 250. that could be possible.

just from the numbers off the top of my head. it is going to be 4 stroke just because of the odd ball size. i mean 28mm was used in alot of applications and 30mm for 2 strokes. but 29mm has always been a generic 4 stroker. now off the topp of my head i would say xl (not xr) 200 cc to 350 cc. and comperative. the xr always ran a slightly bigger for offroad performance. so a xr 250. but this carb is very generic so pretty much they all used them for this engine class. please dont make me dig out a bunch of mauals.
