I was looking at some old Honda ATC brochures online and saw the Hondaline work light that mounts on the right side of the front rack on a big red and fourtrax. Anyone have one of these or seen one on a trike?? They look pretty cool on there.

I have a dealer 1984 Hondaline Binder. I found it interesting, that it show's the picture of it for all the utility trikes. However, when you look at the right where the part numbers/price is listed, there's a decal pasted over the part and says
" WORKLIGHT : NOT AVAILABLE FOR APLICATION ON ATC AT THIS TIME.

On the 125M page, it doesn't have the decal covering it up, but says
Not available for 125M at this time. Do not use Work Light #1539246 or damage to your electrical system may occur.

I wonder if they later had problems with all the ATC's and scrapped it. Kinda like the 350X Chronometer..... listsin the manual, but not a single pic of one and no signs of anyone ever actually buying one. Maybe it was on the 87? hahahaha

It's probably a good thing though. One rollover and that thing is toast!

We had 2 of these lights years ago. While they looked nice, and they worked good for a couple of minutes until they drained the battery. And yes they did drain the battery fast.
We got the one on a Big Red that had stator problems. We replaced the stator ( I had a spare one ) and it was good to go.
Before anyone ask, No we don't have them any more. We sold them with the machines we got them with. It's been at least 9-10 years ago since we sold them.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm currently looking for and original OEM Working Light for my Big Red. Not that I need one, but would like to have one.

With my diligence, I was able to locate a new Hondaline OEM headlight guard from a dealer in Ohio. Basically, I’m looking to complete my Big Red with all the original factory accessories :)

What did it cost you? I've seen them for crazy money on ebay... I'd like to have one myself...
