Parts swap 200s to 200x

I just bought a 200x (not sure of the year) that was not running and not complete.

I have a 1985 200s and would like to switch the rear fenders,gas tank and seat and need to know if they will fit.

Also the motor on the 200x is locked up so I was thinking of putting the 200s motor in it but need to know if they are the same motors and if I can switch the kick start off the 200x and put it on the 200s motor?

the motors will change frames bepending on the year of the 200x 83-85 will swap fine. Also no u wil not be able to put the kick starter on the 200s motor becase theres no kickstart shaft. however u are abole to use the 200x bottom end witht the 200s top end whcih will give u a kickstart motor.

u cant use the fenders or tank for sure..its the same on a 185 (200) and they woint fit on a 200x ..i tried my luck at that and didnt work out..also would look really fugly

Most people like to put the 200s motor in a 200x chassis for its suspension while still having the auto clutch.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess I will have to decide if its worth piecing it back together or part it out and find another that is more complete.
