If you drilled out the entire sleeve, it still wouldnt bring up to 175cc.

The whole top end off a DT 175 Yamaha trail bike will bolt on. An IT 175 will also bolt on but there is a little bit of welding to be done to the transfer area.

so i guess i can't punch it out then, but will a jug from a trimoto 175 change out with mods (other than the carb) at almost 275 pounds this little 125 was kinda gutless

Besides carb, jug, head, piston you need exhaust from 175 also. Do search for "125 175 motor swap yt" on this site or talk to theoldfox. As he has looked into this before. My opinion would be to just to buy an old 175 and fix it up. There is probably an old 175 around for cheap. I have my yt 125 running good and am looking for a 175 to fix up. I know you have two 125's, If your interested in selling some parts off the one I need silencer, choke cable, and starter rope casing as mine has a big chunk missing out the bottom. PLEASE PM IF INTERESTED.
