Holic... Please... I have a 82R now!!! I'll need the longer swinger to use with that 300R motor! hahhaaa
Haven't seen any of these on ebay before, I know regular ones you have to give away. Wierd market that ebay is. Depends on who wants it and what they are willing to pay.

Is it stock length or extended? Extended brings more $. I paid $31 for the west coast for my 200x but I think I got a deal on it :D .

not sure what stock length is but it seems pretty long havent really measured it. it was on an 82 r would this work on my 84 200x or up to what year r would this fit on????

it will only work on an 81-82 250R, the others have different shock set ups and stuff. So, are you going to sellit or what? what else ya got?

I 'm pretty sure it won't work on the 200X. I know it won't work on any other 250R other than the 81-82. I have a 82R cause I'm a purist. Most people who have the air cooled 'R's competitively use the 83-84R's cause they had the same motor, but tons of suspension/handling improvements in the "2nd generation"

havent decided what to do with it yet. ... as far as other parts the swingarm has basically a whole rear end brakes axle, hubs, the motor is there as well as the frame and forks. and a box of bolts and misc pieces. all pretty rusty except the swinger. probably enough goods to start a rebuild but id rather have a 85-86 r or tri z i may just ebay the parts not really sure yet just wanted to know what it was worth and if it would work on my x

If it came off a 82 it will only fit the 82R. The 81's had drum brakes on the back. If it is for a 81 I will give you top$.

I don't think the swingers were different, just the rear axles? I'm sure it'd be setup for use with the rear disc brakes anyhow. Who's going to go for an aftermarket swingarm and race with the rear drum brake?
