Is it worth putting a reed spacer on a Z? Do they give that much performance? I need some info. :wondering

I've been told that a reed spacer is useless on the Z. That's what the boost bottle is for.

I tell you what I heard, I heard that the mid 90's WR250 V-force reed block will fit the Z. Now that is something worth looking into. Seems like that would be as simple as comparing the gasket!

I found a place that sells the reed spacer and gasket all in one kit for the tri-z for $36 shipped. I might try it out but not sure. I need more feedback.

I don't recall anyone ever seeing anyone with one.

I do not know how it will effect a Tri Z, but those V Force reeds really woke up my tricked out blaster. Granted I have pretty much maxed it out. But It still had some hidden power. That V force made a huge differance with that 240 and the other mods. :Bounce

i have a reed spacer on my Z. as for improved horsepower i cant say it did. i added the reed spacer, boyseen reeds, ported jug,the LRD topend exhaust system, removed the airbox, all at once. so there was a huge increase in power. so i would have to lend it to someone without one to find out if it adds power. i just like to say i have one it is just another aftermarket goody on the list of goodies lol

I know this post is real old, but has anyone tried it yet? I found the mid 90's WR 250 (Link to reeds for WR250 (http://www.rockymountainatv.com/vehicleSelectProd.do)) I was thinking about trying it for my early birthday present, which is only in Decemeber
I also found this 3WW.net link. Link (http://www.3wheelerworldforums.net/showthread.php?t=29659)
Anyone got the scoop on these things? I want to see if theres anything there to gain.

EDIT- I noticed that Rocky mountain atv is having some issues. So you go motorcycle, then Yamaha, then WR250 then 1991. This is for V force delta 2 reed cages.

here, I also found this link to V force 3's for a 91 WR250.Link (http://www.mxdeals.com/cage-reed-delta-force-v.html)

again more links to V force 2's for a WR250.
