Which of you lucky suckers has ridden all of the "big" 3? (R,Z,T3)

Well I have owned all of the big three and still own the main 2 hehehe :p
Well out of them all, I would have to pick the 250r as the best all around 2 stroker. Mind you I have a deep deep passion with the Tecate....as my moto is Team Green!. But the 250r has never once given me problems starting, running or just givin me the power when I need it. The Tecate suspension is just superior to all, its like a MX bike with an extra wheel. The Tri-z, well from what time I have ridden them, which is few, I can say the botom end power wasnt there, like I like it. The suspension needs tweeking but I good fun wheeling machine.

I've got all 3. I've ridden all 3. Both styles of Tecate, 85 Z, and most of my 85/86 R experience is from back in the day. Some day I'll finish my current 85 R. The 86 KXT has been and will always be my favorite. I've only ridden one air-cooled R and it was an 81/82. ;) Someday, I'd like to ride a 350X. That's one I've never had a chance to ride.

Ridden all three. Had a Tri-Z in my possession for a while though I didn't technically own it. The R is my favorite but all three are killer. I plan on getting a Tri-Z project someday. Not sure about a 86-87 Tecate. I would love to own one but it seems like parts are scarce.

i have owned all three not all at once. i started with the 85 tri-z, then got an 86 250r,traded the r for an 86 tecate then sold the tecate. now i still have the tri-z. gotten another tecate, and hopefully by the end of the week have another 250r. but not 100% sure on the 250r. should buy it but i promised the wife an r. lol heres a pic of a three that i have had. the Z is gonna be hard to sell someday.

hey nick,did you ride a tiger 80? you said all tigers.what did you think of the tiger 4?i have all the above,tecate's,250r's,tri-z's,tigers and a cagiva.tecate is the best.

I still haven't ridden a Tri-Z, but I have ridden 81, 83, 85, & 86 250R's, as well as an 87 Tecate. The Tecate was sweet, but I still prefer my 86 250R.

i've ridden all three and own 2, soon to be 1. (selling my all orignal very nice Tri-z on ebay) i liked the 250r best even though i haven't got to drive my tecate much at all to determine how awesome it is, a new stator is on the way though.

I owned an 85 R in 88, I now have an 85 and 86 R and have ridden an 84 T-3, and several 85 Tri-z's. I hated the 84 T-3, it rode like crap. It was like a supecharged BigRed, LOL! It was fast as heck and handled horribly. Not to mention that stupid twist throttle. I like my buddy's 85 Z, it has great low end and the handling is good, just not as good as either R. My cousin had a Tri-z 85 model many years ago and it was good, just not very fast. It was stock and my buddy has the wrench report mods on his. They are like night and day. The Tri-z feels like I am sitting on top of it while the R feels like I am a part of the bike. I like my 85 350x as a just ride around bike is great! I want to try and ride an 86 T-3 as those were supposed to be far and away better that the 84-85 models.

Here are a few of mine. The T3 is definitely the fastest. My tri-z(s) are '85s so I can't really compare the suspension to the other 2. I would put my Z on par with the Rs in terms of speed.
