Reflectors on Honda front and rear racks??

I've noticed that some of the Honda bikes like the big red 250es in Europe and Canada come with 2 orange reflectors on the sides of the front and 2 red reflectors on the sides of the rear rack. Did any of your trikes come with these reflectors or is that just something the U.S. didn't put on their trikes? Here's some pics of the reflectors:

i noticed a bigred that had them on there along time ago and sure enough ,,, my front rack had a spot for them so i bought a couple at napa auto parts and put on mine.

Yeah that's what I figured, I was gonna try and pick some up for my big red since they look pretty cool. Anyone happen to have any by chance?

Hey John, those ones you bought at Napa had a bolt on them or did you have to rig them up?

yeah pat ,,,, they had the bolt in them ,,, built in. easy to add them on your front rack.

so ,,, was there some on the back area also ???

Hey John that's good to hear, I'll have to go by there tomorrow and see if they got some. There is actually a tab on each side of the rear rack on the Canadian big reds to mount the RED reflectors. I was thinking about adding some to my rear rack.

hmmm , i'll double check my rear rack this weekend. looks like i'll be going to napa this weekend also :)

maybe update my pictures also of bigred ,,, lots of honda line stuff added since last year.

Hey, I just thought of a good idea for the rear rack reflectors. Since the U.S. big reds don't have the tabs on the rear racks, I'm thinking about getting some of those round clamps that go around pipe and have a hole at the end from the hardware store to mount the reflectors(and paint them black). It should work good..

yep ,,, i know the things your talking about. conduit hangers is what they are called i think. i used them to mount the stock heat sheild guard on my after market header that's on my 350x.

yep..... thanks to John, the "Go-Go" has a OEM heat shield on the Cobra Pipe!

I was about 90% sure all the "foreign" trikes had the reflectors... but knew for sure C eh N eh D eh ones did! Thanks for the info from 'downunda'

PS - That's an old pic of the "Go-Go".... I've since ditched those rear tires, handlebars, and got OEM front fork boots!

Yep all my trikes had/have them. Must have been a law for safety in other countries.

Yeah, must have been required for off road vehicles over there. I like the way they look on the Big Reds actually.

on my '82 atc 200 they are on the headlight mounts and on the rear grab bar

i got my bigred out today and didn't see any factory tabs to mount the rear reflectors ( i didn't think there was any on mine ) ,,, anyone care to show their bigred with the rear reflectors ?

Hey John, here is how I mounted the rear red reflectors with those clamps on my big red...it came out pretty good I think.

yep all my UK bikes have got reflectors...they are used if atc's were put on the road....as most of europe allows trikes on the road as a farm vehicle or as a road bike....and you don't even have to wear a helmet..........
