Steering Stem

I have just started to put my 350x back together but ran into a problem. I just bought a new set of All Balls stearing bearings and I need to remove the lower cone race. In the manuel it says to use a chissle but how would I use a chissle on that??? I really need some help?? thanks

Stick the chisel inside the tube at an agnle against the tubing wall and work it arounf the inside with the hammer.Go easy though, you are only trying to remove the race.

I need to get the one off of the stem it self.

so what is the extra washer for in the kit??

It goes on bottom after the seal. Replaces old washer.
