View Full Version : Tri-Z clutch

It seems I can never figure out how the clutch works in this thing. I just installed a new clutch, but it's loose in the basket. All the discs move back and forth like there's one missing. Is this normal. I hooked up the cable but it feels like its only engaging about half, and it's pretty stiff. I would expect it to be stiff, but I don't want to put it together and have it be screwed up.

I just ordered a new clutch cable, I'll install that tomorrow.

Any suggestions.

turn the outer plate one notch, that should fix it!

Yep, I figured that out! I also figured out i'm an idiot! I don't know how I missed that.

That's for the help though!
