well this is my project so far just got my new welder so thats making it go faster than with my arc welder.i made the front of the frame an inch higher and an inch longer and split downtubes to get more air to the head.it has an 86 200x shock swinger and the back part of the frame. gtting the oil cooler and the valve breathers and maybe a 12.1 or 10.1 piston.so now i just have to ad some gussets andfill in some pieces to the frame.i had to mount the swinger upside down to

Do you have any close up pics where swingarm attaches to the frame? What kind of forks are you using?

Is the rear half of a 200x frame welded to the front of a 185 frame?

i was usng a sears 110 arc welder now im using my mig welder i bought

I have a 110 arc. other then taking forever to do anything with how were the welds?If someone was in no rush you figure you could use a 110 for a whole project withoput much problems?

i think as long as you went slow and made sure all the pieces fit perfect it should be fine.if anyone wants to buy my arc welder make me an offer because i dont need it anymore

why did you mount the swinger upside down? How are you going to figure out the chain?

i had to mount it like that because thats were i put the shock mount at.i still have to flop the axle back over so its on the right side.i put the swinger mounts alittle wider than the swinger so i could put spacers in to ajust were the swinger lines up with the chain
