Hey folks.
I hope I'm posting this in the right place.
It seemed like the logical selection.

There's a fella at work who has what he refers to as a "mint condition" 1984 ATC200S for sale.
The ONLY flaw is a ding in the fuel tank.
Total hours are "about 35".
It runs great, was owned by an elderly relative of his and has always been garaged.
All original.

Thanks for any and all input.

How much is he asking?

I had a near mint 200s and sold it for $650. I thought it was worth alot more then that, but i needed the cash.

He's asking $500.

I thought that sounded fair but it all hinges on what his idea of "mint" is.
I've seen some pretty rugged "mint condition" items in my time.

I'm hoping to go see it by the weekend.
It's quite a few miles from here.

$500 for a 200s with 35 hours, if it was always stored inside, I would think even $1000 was a fair price, you can't fix a beater up for under that to get it into the same condition.. grab it fast .............. :Bounce

I would say $650-$800. Again it's hard to say until you've seen it and heard it run. Good luck.

$500 is a good price for a 200s that is in just good condition with everything working. If it really is "mint" then I would think it would be worth at least $900 absolute minimum. For $500 I would jump on it even if it was just in very good condition were it has been used but not beat on.
