Here's a couple shots of the Z quick rebuild. This is just some rough stuff.

The stock radiator shrouds were looking pretty abused so I fabricated some up out of aluminum plate. Watch for finished pictures next week. Got more cool stuff coming!!!!

LOL! I got mine out yesterday, runs fine now. I figured out what was wrong. I got my newly sleeved cylinder back from Wiseco today! Man, do they do an awesome job! You get what you pay for! I intend to have mine apart and back together this weekend. Hopefully itll be a little quieter without all that piston slap.
If its muddy, we will need two running trikes!

Tim, how fast was Wiseco's turn around? (how long from the day you sent to the day you recieved it back). I havent dealt with them in awhile and my friend needs some work done to his R cylinder.. shopping around for a place to do it..

The Z is looking great, the aluminum shrouds are a nice touch.

It really sucks, because it looks terrible in pictures but great in person. I have new plastic on the way. That will really help things out.

Not really. I've kind of been dreading it. But, I had to do it, because it was soo bad, I was afraid of damaging parts if I kept riding it like that. Plus, I've never really decided how I wanted to do it, kept changing my mind every week. Still am! Also, this powervalve engine swap has geve me a few snags, so that's kind of had me stressed. I'm almost thru now though.

I'm going to make a set of brass bushings for the swinger pivot tomorrow and finish assembly. I decided to ditch the needle bearings in the front of the swinger, because they just don't last. Last set was only in 5 months and were wasted.

Actually, I heard the Blaster would fit better, but I didn't like the design as much. This one is for a TRX250R. I had the upholstery shop cut it apart and make it fit as best they could. It looks decent, but the back doesn't really fit the best.
I'll finish the graphics when the new plastic comes in. I have a whole pile of parts left to stick on it still. I really am waiting on my rear lowering kit I bought to finish up the rear suspension. I think that will work out nice. I can run the longer shock and sit my ride height however I want.

When I get my trail bike built, this bike will get torn down again and really spit shined!

I had Nac's blaster cover on my tri Z and the 250r cover you have on my 350x. The blaster cover looked really nice on the Z I thought. :)

I sure wish mine was that far along( and that looks real nice Derrick!)I tore mine apart about 6 months ago and have been buying parts ever since, really dont have the room to put it back together again right now,I was hoping to have it done for TF but i know it is not going to happen, considering everything I am having chromed on it! It is a long process for perfection but in the end it is all worth it
