Anyone know if you can get alloy rims for the ATC70, last time I contacted Douglas they said they don't do them, There have been some alloy rims sighted from time to time on Ebay and elsewhere listed as ATC70 but I suspect these are 8" rims (ala ATC90) with low profile tyres fitted.
The ATC70 rims are 7" so I'd be interested to know if there is such a thing available!!

I believe those wheels sighted on ebay were originally meant for go karts. I have several sets for a barstool racer a buddy of mine and myself and they come in many different sizes, offsets, 1 and 2 piece rims, 3 and 4 bolt patterns and standard and metric bolt patterns.

Yep
Thats the ones I saw on Ebay, but it looked to me like they were 8" rims with low profile tyres on them, is that what you have there 42F67N or are they ridgey didge 7" rims ??

I stood them up against my atc 70 back wheels and they were a tad smaller but i attribute that to the stock ballon tires, these tires arent as big as the ballon tires height wise.

Yep sounds good, but what is the size of the tyre printed on the side, the stock ATC70 is 16x8-7, this indicates a circumference of 16", a width of 8" and to suit a rim size of 7"
Just trying to figure out if what you have is a 7" rim or an 8" rim??

I live in England and I also am after the same wheels. I have emailed douglas wheels them selves and they put me in touch with a place in Germany, but they don't sell them, and they have no plan to get some for me either. Plus I have emailed the inland atv that are selling the ones on ebay, but I do not get a response from them either. I have managed to get in touch with www.atvworld.com and they said they could get me some, but they are trying to get in touch douglas wheels, but they are not getting anywhere either.

I seem to be getting no where at the moment. Anyone in the UK having the same problems? Or have you managed to get some. If so tell me where?

Plans for my Honda ATC 70:-

Douglas wheels on the rear
Jincheng DX90 front forks with disc brake front hub + G-Craft 3.5 alloy front rim
Zongshen 110 Engine with secondary clutch

The rest of it, will be re-sprayed and restored. But the thing with the wheels is holding be up.

Will they do it with the 4 bolt pattern at 7? You can swap the hubs out. Use a 200x early year version. Check and see if you can get them that way?

If I can't get soon, I may just get the hubs cut up and changed to a 4 stud pattern. I will have to base them on another atc/atv, that atvworld have in stock.

Also is there any after market ATC 70 rear axles?
As I have been off work recently, and have just started to take it to bits, and my axle has been welded to right hand side hub. Due to the fact that the axle has no teeth left on it.
Does the TRX 70 rear axle fit the ATC 70? Anyone have a spare ATC 70 axle you want to sell, but don't have a problem shipping it to England?

Thanks

John

www.douglaswheels.com have got back in touch with me, and want to know the details for the ATC 70 douglas wheels. If they don't know. Who the hell does. I gave them the year and a link for the ones that are being sold on ebay, and they still can't help me.

This what they have just sent me:-

"We do not have an application for a ATC 70 therefore I do not know what wheel you are needing. I have attached our application guide for you to reference from".

I can't understand this excel document they have sent me. So all I need is the diameter x width and bolt pattern, then they can sort me out (hopefully). If someone who has got these wheels give me the details, so I can forward them on?

Thanks

John

John

I think you are going to find the ones sold on Ebay are 8", with low profile tyres fitted, thats what it looks like to me, if anyone who has these rims can just tell you what the tyre size is that is stamped on the side wall this will probably confirm my theory.
As far as I can tell no-one makes a 7" alloy rim to suit the ATC70. However I'm still trying to confirm this.
Best of british to ya mate
