Detailed pics always clear up a good case of BS.

I didn't think it would have had gold rims.

250r pyscho, I think the "Pyscho" or if you want to spell it right "PSYCHO" part in your name spells it out. I think the only thing that has been lost under your uncles house all these years has been your brain! LOL

Dr. Demo, your the one with the brain rot here. Do not judge other people until there is proof, otherwise you just make yourself look like an uneducated trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro.

When I see some pictures, I'll believe it.

JohnnyBlaze, just the fact that you can honestly defend "Psycho" boy's post shows me what kind of mentality you have and who here has the actual brain rot. If you believe the "he only rode it once and he had a car accident so he put it under his house and left it there and forgot about it" you should really be smart enough to recognize that the Model year Id tag's were never put on the bottom of the frames on the ATC 250R's.
There are posts like this that pop up from time to time on the board just to get a reaction out of people and waste board space. I personally find it humorous and entertaining. Being a "3WW Bouncer" you should at the very least have the intelligence and mental capacity to be able recognize this. Hey, maybe you can join forces with "Psycho" boy now that the mystery of the 87R has been solved and go after the other great world mysteries, such as ALIENS or where the ever elusive BIGFOOT is hiding!! My guess would be to check under psycho boys uncles house, who knows what else he has hiding under there! LOL JohnnyBlaze there is nothing wrong with defending a persons post, but when you defend a post like this, YOU look like the "uneducated trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro"!

Yet again, you show your relative intelligence.

The fact that I said "Ill believe it when I see the pictures" means exactly that...Just becuase I did not voice it out that i do not believe him like nearly every other person that does not mean I do believe him, because I do not. I'm well aware of what became of most of the 87 machines.

You jump to conclusions too much, as evidenced by the few posts you have made. There is no reason to say other people are wrong, when neither party has any proof at the moment. As far as I see it, he IS making this up. A little quote, "opinions are like assholes, everybody has one." - I suggest you take heed to that. Someone with any wisdom knows that (oh dear, another quote) "the proof is in the pudding".

250R Psycho, Hey dude I will offer you $3500 dollars in cash for the bike right now sight unseen...Plus I will pay you or somebody else a $300 dollar crating fee. And I will pay to have it shipped to my door. So say I offer you $4000 to take it to a shipping agent and drop it off with my address on it....WILL YOU DO IT???????? Just send me a picture of the bike with proof of it being an '87 and the cash is on the way.............

Mike, youre going to pay shipping from Australia?

You guys shouldnt be so quick to doubt what may turn up in foreign countries. I dont know if he's got one or not, but a few other strange, post decree things turned up in Australia on this board, so Im not ready to immediately say hes full of it. And yes, his IP really is in Australia.

Exactly what, in effect, I said. what I think and whats actually the truth are two different things.

hey ATC'R, Im just curious as to why you would log in as a guest and use the name Dr Deno for this post?

sorry everyone i am so dumb he didnt tell me that it was really an 86 he said the key and neutral light was hooked up by him just after he bought it i dont know how he did it but he did and the neutral light doesnt work when i rode it (i didnt check it to c if it did or not) but he reckons it didnt as for the little plate there really was one on the bottom saying 1987 atc 250r and a few specs on it but i dont know it may b just made up or something to get more money when the bloke before sold it to my uncle as for the white plastics they are fiberglassed off the original ones that came with it and the r stickers were made by a mate of his. my uncle said all he wanted to do was make it look as if it was an 87 r he reckons he didnt even know about the little plate on the bottom but he said he might of done it he doesnt know (hes on a few medications at the moment for the treatment of his cancer so hes a little bit out of it)so he might of put it there i dunno i am truly sorry for leading all of use on like this i dont know much about the ol three wheelers and i read that quest for the 87 atcs part on this site and it said it had all the things mine actually had and even looked like mine so yeh sorry for missleading u all

Couldn't help it. That was funny! :-D Johnny please take no offense as I see where you were coming from. I just thought that comment was funny. :-D

As always..."Extraordinary Claims require Extraordinary Proof".

250R pyscho, please post some pics of this trike. I for one would love to see just how far one "bloke" would go to 87-ize an 86 250R and then hide it all these years.

Thanks!

hey ATC'R, Im just curious as to why you would log in as a guest and use the name Dr Deno for this post?
Hey Timsr, Before you go pointing fingers, I suggest that you a do a little more research as you will find my ip address belongs to the public net work at the University. If this is about you harboring bad feelings or any animosity toward me for correcting information you may have posted in the past, thats pretty shallow as this board should be open to everyones advise. Please in the future be mature enough to PM people directly if you have a problem rather than try to agitate and make accusations on this board.

My apologies to you that the posts did not come from you. You seem like a stand up guy, and I will take you at your word that it was not you.
I wasnt trying to start anything, but rather end it. We seem to have a problem with a few site regulars who like to log in as a guest with a bogus name and stir things up thinking noone can tell who they are, even though the IP number shows where the transmission came from. The possibility that some might be using a public system never occurred to me, though it should have as there have been cases in the past where others in the same household created problems for a user.
You are right in that I should have questioned you privately before naming you publically, and again I apologise - publically.
I have no animousity towards you, and never have had any. This mistake on my part has nothing to do with views or opinions, and thats not how I operate. I would hope Ive always shown respect for your views regardless of whether or not I agree with them.
I hope you will accept my apology for this mistake.
