Kick starter slippin

My kick star on my red slips every once in a while, and a friend (who's had many) says its my sprag bearing? :confused:
I was just wondering if there was only one of these, or are there two. The reason i say this is because my electric start isnt working either and he says its also because of this.

Is there one on both sides of the engine? :wondering

Yes, there is 2 sprags. One on the flywheel and one on the clutch. There is a very good chance the one on the clutch has caused your electric starter problems. before ordering both sides you need to pull the electric starter and inspect it for damage. If there is damage you shouldn't need to replace the clutch side sprag. But you will have other stuff to replace.
