Started working on the Swinger agian....I just used some scrap stock I could find at work then my welder said to stick with Hard Facing my buckets!!!! So he took over Anyway,,,When I got back to work today he handed me this.....My question is....Do you think that the wishbone mount is too high???? Might slap the Tank Cover....Just a Guess....Its not quite what I had in mind but his intentions were good....

looks good, it wont hit the tank, but may be too heavy for serious drags

I've seen dudes with real meaty swingarms at the drags.. what they do is drill holes in the real meaty parts to shed some pounds.. I've seen it lots of times and it always seems to hold up good.. Although I've never seen someone jump with a "lightened" swingarm, But isnt your Z basically a straight line speed / dune machine?
Guess you could try anything, Whats the worste that could happen... have the rearend crumble while topping past 70? :p

23 is a lot when weight is your enemy. Ya need to get an aluminum one. My +6 aluminum one only weighs 4 pounds Im guessing, maybe a lil more. And the drilling of holes in swingers and frames, will only get you the most expensive ride in a helicopter, you have ever had. Well, thats if you survived long enough for the medivac to show up...
