will a 350x carb work on a 200x with a 10.25 piston a DG pipe and a uni filter? If so any advantages or disadvantages?

nope, they mount up very different.

Make an inlet manifold. Its not that much of a job. Look at the pic in the post "best atc90/110 mod". Its on a 90 motor but you can do something similar. My father has a race motorbike witha Keihin FCR carb on it and it bolts on in that fashion. I can send you pics if you like? Otherwise it would get something like an XL185 bike carb, bolts on and easy to find.

the xr200's carb and cam are an improvement, cant remember which year xr's though.

On a 200 i would run upto 36mm. Not sure what size a 350x carb is but theres some guidelines.

your best bet is a 28mm mikuni carb for the 200X
