I am having some trouble getting my trike running properly...it's a 1982 atc200 and I thought I would start with a new plug and wire. When I phoned the dealer he said that the wire comes attached permanantly to the ignition coil and it will cost me $85. My trike came with an ignition coil and wire that screw together. I am thinking that either the dealer just wants to soak me or that the trike came with the wrong ignition coil (I bought it not running). Since then I have had it running but not great and the spark is not what it should be. Anyone out there know what I should be looking at....is it a solid unit on the trikes or does the two piece make sense? Thanks.
Mark.

Did what you said 'MY trike sucks' and now its running but not that great still. When I drive it at high throttle it pops and cracks and doesn't have much top end. Anyone have any ideas????
