Im just curious if these nice shocks can work on my Tecate or anyone elses Three Wheelers. He has alot of them and good Brake Parts That work on the Hondas. Can any three wheeler use this Fox Shock?

these wont work on a linkage rear end at all, no matter what brand.....the cannondales that these go on use a really low shock angle and they are no-linkage...therefore, because of this crazy angle, they have an insanely stiff spring, and because of the crazy spring it is valved really tight... so unless you want rock hard no rebound whatsoever suspension...dont get one......also you have to make all kinds of adapters, it will look cobbed up when your done.....i have one i put on my LT, and it doesnt work for crap, i swapped it out for a custom one....

I would love a newer rear shock on my Tecate and that price is good. Thx for the info. I guess you can use a Warrior shock on a Tecate with a little work.

Again...DAMN Skippy lol. 550 american is too rich for my blood right now. I have an 01 raptor shock in there anyway, Works could hook me up with a spring and valving for less than that. Hope you get your moneys worth for it though, thats a sweet shock and I'd love to have the cash to put it on my bike.

What year Raptor Rear shock for 84-85 Tecate? Does the air box get in the way?

The 2001 Raptor shock with the remote resi is the one you need. The airbox needs a corner trimmed to get the resi mounted to the frame. Right now I have a hole in the back of my airbox so I mounted the resi on the top inside the airbox. In the spring when I get rid of the airbox completely I'll mount it to the frame right above the filter.
