Or could it be from one of those Big Red Quads that pop up in Europe every once in a while. Check it out.

The guy has it listed as a TRX 300 tank, and I can't quite tell if it would fit onto a Big Red 3 wheeler or not. Another thing that catches my eye is at the bottom of the page, there are a few questions from possible bidders. The one reads, "Hi, nice tank you got there. Do you have any other parts for the Honda Bigred 3 wheeler? thanks." The seller's reply is, "Yes what is it you are looking for, and I can find out and give you a price."
So can we infer that this tank is indeed for a 3-wheeled Big Red even though he has it listed as a TRX 300??? And we know it's from '88 or after based on those decals. How interesting.......

I didn’t think the big red had the indentation for the tank. And didn't the 1988's say Super Red?

Hey Bigred87, I saw that too. I think that is for the Bigred Quad which was available in Canada and maybe a few other places. It looks to be shaped a little different than the Bigred 3 wheeler tank. It's in great shape though!

It looks a little bit wide in the front for a trike frame if you ask me.

After studying it a bit more, and comparing it to the pictures below, I have to say that I do believe that it is in fact for a quad. Check out the site below for the decals.

Unfortunately no. I thought about buying a set of those 1988 Big Red decals for my '87 because they look cool, but then I thought that it just wouldn't be right having the incorrect year's decals on my Big Red. So I decided against it.
If you do decide to buy from them, let us know how it goes if it's not too much trouble. I'm interested in how customer-friendly they are. :beer

I'll let you know if I order from them. I guess their prices are in French currency?? That's not too bad of a deal if that's the case..

No, I'm not familiar with any of them except New Philadelphia. When I seen Lansdale I got exicited but remembered the town near me is called Lansford.
