I"m sure they buy their oil from some major brand name company.

Anyone know this piece of trivia ?

My dealer informed me it was made by shell when i got the oil changed in my CBR 1000rr this last july. And i hear that rotella T full syn is some of the best oil going. You can get it at wallmart for 12.89 a gallon in the blue jug.

The motorcycle/atv oil (GN4 and HP4) are supposed to have anti-shear additives (so the oil won't break down in the gearbox as quickly) that regular motor oil doesn't have. That's just what I've heard.

I know they put a few more things in there to help the clutch and gears. I always use regular car oil. Never had a problem with it. I know some machines do not like synthetic car oils.
