hey in any weather below 30*f my trikes rear end freezes up, i dont know if its the brakes or what, if it is what would be a good solution. i need to put new brake shoes on so i find this to be a good time to fix the problem, i dont think theres enough water in there to freeze the whole rear end up.

try putting some wd40 on allyour cables and moving brake parts
my friend had this problem, it had water in it but it also had a whole load of mud in the break drum, so when it sat outside overnight the mud would freez up and freez up the drum
