just acquired an atc200e......My question is what year is it. It's a 200, electric start with recoil backup, hi/low gearing, no front suspension, and the light and kill switch is on the left side of the handlebars.
Thanks for any help,
Trop
By the way, i paid 150 bucks for it, and all it needs is a top end, a chain, and a headlight because i really don't wanna be seen with the two car fog lights mounted on a metal house recepticle box lol, i gotta take a picture of this rig job. sound like a fair price?

Get me a vin number off the frame or serial number off motor and I will tell you. I don't have enough info otherwise.

And the Identification Manual says.....
1983 Honda atc 200e Big Red. Looking at the picture though I can see someone has changed the front forks. The correct forks have shocks.
Also, I can't help but notice the Electrical box inbetween the headlights. lol. If you want a original style headlight I have one listed on Ebay right now ( ends tomorrow and is cheap ). Here is that addy.

The mounts on the forks you have are a little different and a little fabrication to Mount the headlight will be needed. How ever I could possibly have it set up to mount right on.
Thanks

I tell ya what, your at the right place. I'm sure there are a lot of guys here with parts. Fix it up, learn from your mistakes and you'll be smilin down the trails soon. And then you'll want a 250R! It's so addictive. Enjoy.

:-D already have an '81 R, totally restoring it, just have to put it back together now ;) also have 70's 110(not sure what year) '82 110, and an '83 200. the 200 is the only one that's in service right now(hence the name "brokdown") lol
wouldn't mind getting a 200x project bike if someone has one for pretty cheap

that fork looks like a 110's fork with some adapter thingy to use a front brake
forks are probably off a 1980 or 81 atc-185 or 200, thay had front brakes but no shocks.
