I'm thinking about selling a 3-wheeler I have, and I'm wondering how to ship it potentially across the country. Please post any ideas or experiences you've had! We're talking about a '83 ATC200.

Thanks,

I shipped a Quadzilla in an enclosed crate (700+ lbs) from Norfolk to Phoenix via Forward Air for $250. That was 4 years ago, and I suspect they have raised their rates since then, but I hear they're the best deal going.

I used Mapp Cargo to ship my new R from Redondo Beach, Ca, to Texas. The seller built the crate...but the cost was $250 for the shipping. Forward Air would have charged around $400.

I used a moving company to get my R from Ohio to Phoenix. If you have trouble finding a good deal you might look into that. Door to door (no crate) cost me $350.
