this guy is building a yz250 powered 250r, heres the interesting part is a a 85 205r trike, you guys are gonna like this.

You gotta give this guy some credit but a factory brake stay is not to hard to come by. 250R/ Banshee look is interesting. I miss my race banshee ---two 15 year olds stole it and all I got back was a pile of parts. But now I'm into performance three wheelers and I'm never lookin back.

We should give it a name Hows HONDASHEE. Honestly i think he did a good job! And that brake mount looks like it was fabed up pretty good.

the guy posted on anther forum that he didn't alter the frame in a way that he couldn't return it to a trike, HAHAHA He should have kept it a trike and put a yz250 motor in, I think he would have liked it alot more. One thing really questions me, how is this bike supposed to get air to the radiators, the radiators are totally covered in plastic. It could be worse, the bike could have had a short track kit, westcoast/cal-fab swinger, been a old racer, etc.

I wonder why he didn't just put the YZ engine in a Banshee frame? Wasn't it Don Turk and some others who raced a "Ban-Zee" in the late 80's? They had some of those with Tri-Z engines and some with YZ engines. I guess he knows what he's doing with that frame geometry.

The conversion I thought I'd like best is the Blaster with a YZ250 mill.

I think he's trying WAY too hard! Just go buy a new Banshee or a new YZ! God it looks like that poor 250R went to atv prison and got the cell with banshee bubba, and then had to shower with YZ

There used to be place in Newburgh, NY not far from me, called "clean livin' ed's'. Ed was a strange man, his house was a junk yard, mostly motor cycles and mopeds, last I heard he passed away, but he was famous for the same thing, harleys with honda motors, yahmaha's with harley motors........He was a smart guy, but anyone that would do such a thing is just an idiot in my book, but whos gonna read it besides me?:P

first of all iam going to laugh my ass off when his frame snaps when he wheelies and comes down on that front end, second its going to have the worst ride in the world, the fronts going to suck with the banshee geometry but then the rear is going to be smooth because of the pro-link, also iam not sure so dont quote me but the yz250 doesnt have a counterbalancer so his CRAPPY welds are going to crack going down the road, i second the no air to radiators also, its going to over heat, then the air-shrouds from the R need to go, OMG if u had a brain he would have done so many things different, its a peice or crap, money whor thats going to kill his bank acount because of the fix and repairs going to be needed, i want to know wat he is building it for in the first place.

There is where you're wrong buddy, if he had a brain, he'd put a helmet on it, and go ride his sweet 250R.....after joining this forum of course.....

Bank acount?? Nah, I think it'll kill him first.

Why he did it?? So he can show people and say "I put that together".

As far as those welds, he didn't weld anything, he just dumped melted metal on top of two other pieces of metal. Well, can't blame him alotta people think thats what welding is, he may have been taught that way.

Damn, trike riders are a bunch a critics huh?? lol

Im sorry I did. That is some real appalachin engineering technology right there. One question.......WHY?? seems like alot of time invested for no apparent reason. I wonder how it will handle? I wonder if it is heavier than a factory quad frame? ????????? goofy looking thats for sure.
