84 200x in peices for $150

think i should buy it?? its all there besides carb air box, exhaust and the piston needs new rings its a 12:1 wiseco piston...i probly put my 185 engine on it for now ..its got spider trak tires and needs new front fender..it was a parts bike but its almost complete...i was figurin on puttin my 185 engine with the 12:1 wiseco in it and the 200x head with my 185 exhaust and carb..think it would work? and should i buy it?? the reason im puttin the 185 engine on it if i get it is because the bottom engin cases havew a hole where it looks like the crank rod shot out of..there is no crank on the engine

dont know if you should buy or not but i have an exhuast for a 200x for ya if youre looking for one its the exhuast and head pipe... $50.00 and its yours

actually i just realized that ot does have the stock exhaust with it so i guess i wont be needin it.. :D

you should go for it.. even though the motor needs work.. you might not be able to find another for that price..

yea i know..i was thinkin the same..y miss out on an oportunity that i may not get again..never a good thing but i planed on buying other stuff with my check so im really not sure..my 185 will be running within the next week so i may not but that would be a nice auto x! ...or i could put the x gears in the 185 tranny..would that work??

uhm 1 more ? ...i forgot to mention it has no gas tank..will my 185 tank fit?..its got fenders but they aint great..matter of fact they need replaced..but getting it running is my 1st priority...they are so bad the kid before they guy i might be getting it from put a black piece of plastic from 1 side of the fenders to the other and bolted it on ..looks like crap...but im not worried bout it..i just want to get it runnin first if i get it..so will my 185s gas tank fit the 200x?

I think the tank might fit. Might be a big fugly though. If it doesn't fit I have a nice 200X tank that will! I'd buy it if it was complete other than what you mentioned. Good luck.

well ive been wanting something wiht more power than my 185 for a long time...if i were to put the tranny gears and piston and carb and exhaust on my 185 would it have realtively more power than a 200x?

maybe the guy will let me just buy the engine parts i need and the exhaust and those tires..i want them spider traks..they arent in bad shape but they are a little worn...he syas they may need tubes tho..i havnt really made up my mind yet ...i get paid monday and i also work monday so im not gonna be able to talk to him till tuesday..hope he doesnt sell it before then..

With the fenders, why dont you get fibreglass ones made. Thats what we have to do here, all the plastic ones are dead.

well im not sure i want to buy it tho now..i just thought that my friend needs somethin to ride and hes got a job and money to get it..i have a 185s and the other friend has a 200x so if he gets it we all got somethin to ride and no one is b****in about not having anything..just a thought..unless i fix the 185 and sell it to him while im fixing up the x..that could work out...but i really dont know what i want to do

also the guy im getting it from if i do works at a machine shop and im good friends with him so if i need somethin done he can do it..he can also get the frame powder coated for free..which color should i go for if i do it?

definetly getting the x ..also has twist throttle that i found out! and im getting the head ported and polished and shaved..12:1 wiseco..stock pipe tho..ima get a new one on next check if i dont get fenders...so what color should i get the frame and swinger powder coated??
