I do not know where that New Castle is ... we even havea New Castle in my state but there is no way I am paying $125.00 for shipping only for just a frame . please tell me if my eyes are playing tricks on me !

so... I can't win... the guy at the salvage yards wants $400.00 and this guy wants $125.00 for shipping , both too much for me to pay just for a frame but maybe that is the going prices for 1985/86 frames I really do not know this is all new to me . so maybe someone can shed some light on this . and let me know what is the going prices on frame and shipping .

Thats a trx 250r frame. A little more expensive to ship. You should be able to get a frame shipped to you for about 35 to 60 from someone.

Heres a couple, both $40 to ship

sorry guys I was trying to post a reply when my power went out when I was first looking at the auction there was no picture at all... so either my computer or msn or cable modum sucks or he did not have the picture up yet , I just pulled it up and saw the picture and it's clearly a trx250r frame .

I just wish people could take the time out and put the correct description in the auction like in this case if there was no picture they could had put in the description "Honda TRX250r 1986 frame 86" or even fourtraxs or four wheeler .but then agian if my stuff was working right ...there would not even be this here post .

problem with shipping a frame is the size. you get slapped for a cubing sharge.

L x W x H / 1728 x10 ground or x15 air = cubic weight.

ex: Frame that weighs 50 lbs and measures 40 x 24 x 24 = 23040

devided by 1728 = 13.33

x 10 shipped via grouns = 133.3 lbs

PS: Yes.. i know my dimensions are all wrong and the actual weight is also.. but this gives you an idea !!!

I ship a lot of frames, and if he got $125 shipping, then he measured the dimensions wrong or tried to box it, and is pricing it as oversize 3. By the way, Ive shipped a TRX250R frame too, which also falls within oversize 2. Oversize 2 is billed at 70 lbs whether its 40 lbs or 60 lbs. You also have to pay an extra $5 handling fee if its not in a box, but if you box it, the dimensions will be too large. If he just shrinkwraps it, he should be able to ship it anywhere in the cont. US for under $50. The first ATV frame I have ever sold that would not fit within oversize 2 dimensions is an LTF500.

Dammit!

I hate how people put 85-86 frame in these auctions. They are not the same thing.

I work for UPS and $125 is a possible price for shipping something that big. Its considered a Irregular. It cant go on the belt. If you ship a irreg it will cost alot more. WHEN YOU SHIP STUFF PACK IT REAL GOOD!! I see lots of broken stuff come through.
