Nice trike. Some like the look but im not to fond of a lot of aftermarket stickers. 2 other things I would do ( if it were mine) is change the headlight back to stock and repaint the engine. Not a bad looking trike all in all, its far from a "farm trike"

Thats no farm trike, looks good. Change the seat, get a number plate or the stock light and guard and your set. Some better pics of the Tri-Z conversion would be nice.

I'm game to trade you a stock 82R headlight for that one. I like the looks of it. You send me yours first. Then I will send you mine.

Did you buy that tri-z like that??

raptor
01-19-2005, 06:30 PM
yep it was bought like that. plastics are rubbish and look crap. who ever cut them should be shot! and the nerfs.. dont go there!

also the powervalves take a while to kick in like theres some sort of air bubble or something!

it was cheap so i grabbed it!

My opinion is much like the others. Take off the Headlight, put an original on and then get rid of the aftermarket stickies!

raptor

what could i do? swap headlights? and keep the stock one i swap with bruce. and put a plate on insted of a head light? or just stick the stock headlight on?

Like I said... take some nice upclose pics of that headlight for me, and I'll do the same here. I got a 200X headlight and a 82R Plastic spare. The "light itself" will go right into the 82R plastic. I'll take pics of the 200X light by itself and my 82R headlight, and maybe you'll like the 200X light better. Either case, it's 200% closer to stock than what you got! I'll take a pic of that stock seat foam too, but I think you ought to order up the desert seat/foam from www.hi-flite.com

March dirtwheels has an article about the the first 250r, that first 250R really changed the sport back then, Your 250r is in pretty good nick( that means "good Condition" for you yanks out there)
I agree with the other posts-paint your motor and try to return it as close to stock as possible. You've got a classic there, It would be a shame to maul it.
How does that Tri-Z/Quad handle? ever thinking of turning it back into a trike.

I havent thought of it. theres no point messing with it as its too much work. too many problems. its runs now so ill leave it how it is. it handles good. but its very heavy.
