hmmm it was listed as a 200x keyed ignition. any ideas as to what it goes to? i like the neutral light though! anyone tried a keyed ignition or even a neutral light?

The 200x doesn't have the sensor in the tranny to know when its in neutral.
That dash is off a 250es or sx or someother workhorse with reverse.

I'm 95% sure it's off a 1984 ATC200es Big Red ( the only other option would be a 86-87 125m ). How do I know this?
1st The ignition switch narrows it down to these machines: 84-85 ATC125m, 86-87 125m, 82-83 200e, 84 200es, 84-85 200m, 87 200x, 85-87 250es, 85-87 250sx
2nd, there is a reverse light that narrows it down to these: 86-87 125m, 84 200es, 85-87 250es, 85-87 250sx
3rd It has the choke cable holder on it. This narrows it down to the 86-87 125m, 84 200es. From memory: the 125m's used a dash panel that was configured a little different. So you remove that one and your left with the 84 200es Big Red. Howdy - Ace Detective!! lmao j/k
Now will it work on a 200x? Yes and no, The dash panel won't bolt up to a 200x. So that part won't work. You will need to remove the switch and ake a holder / mount for it. The ignition switch can be wired into the 200x harness to work.
If you just want the key to kill the motor you just need to use the green and the black wire ( Unless you have a battery hooking the other wires up would be a waste of time ). In your wires running to the stock handle bar switch you have a green and a black wire. Connect these 2 wires to those 2 wires ( green to green, black to black ) and mount the switch and your good to go.
Please note: Unless you disconnect the handle bar switch it will have to be in the run position and the key to the "ON" position for the motor to get spark and run. Turning either off would kill the motor.

I agree.
I have both an 84 ES, and an 85 SX.
the SX has the lights side by side.
the ES has them top and bottom. like the picture.

that would be just like it is on a big red. there is both a key witch and a kill switch. i would just leave it hooked up.

The 200es is shaft drive, just like was started ing the other post. The 125m is chain drive but that is only a 125cc engine. Both the 250es and 250sx are shaft drive also. What 200 are you asking about?

it gets on people's nerves...read and be enlightened. rule #3 states:
3. Updated 8/19/03,Using all Caps is considered Yelling on the internet and extremely Rude. Any and All Posts typed in all caps are subject to removal with out prior notification or any warning. Repeat postings in all caps will result in further action, up to and including a ban from the message boards. Limit: 1 out of 10 words posted in All caps is more than enough. This was added to keep people from trying to get around this rule.
