Gday Folks.

Im bored seen as my holiday to the farm with the old red is over. I pulled the trike out today and fired her up, first go mind you! It was really muddy after our trip but it all cleaned off pretty well. The old girl never ceases to impress me, i actually had some tires/rims off a 350 bigbear on it for the trip as my tires leak etc etc. The other tires had big thick tread so it helped me in the mud. Its a mud pig and it FLOATS. I thought it wouldent but it did! Gotta love that. Here is a few pics that i took about 10 minutes ago. The trailer has my 1987 parts trike in it. Its all pretty much dissasembled and all the parts are packed in the bottom. The other pic is of my trike on my Holden HQ 1 tonner, pure aussie muscle!

Hope ya like it.

Is that vehicle considered a car or a truck? Does the bed on it tilt? It would be sweet if it did. It is cool looking.

Gday.

Thanks for all the comments.

The car/truck is actually a UTE, short for utility vehicle, Australian slang.

Its a 1972 Holden HQ 1 tonner. It has a 4.2 litre v8, it runs on fuel/gas. It has a toyota 5 spd supra gearbox in it. Its a great tough old vehicle with plenty of towing grunt (motor was built for towing).

Hey Matt, bra, we need to make a deal.
Maybe I can get a few mint Big reds from dude on the post here and send one to you and you house myself and my wife for a week! :D
She is wanting to do a trip to Aussie land and this might make it happen! Haha
I hope to go to dudes place and take some pics of the ranch and what he has and then take a couple home with me.

Dunno if Matt filled you guys in , but his UTE is made by Chevrolet. So it's got 2 things going for it.

1.) it's close to being Honda Red.

2.) and it's a Chevy too.

Hard to beat that combo! My truck is a chevy, but its got that champagne gold color to it.

Yep holden is a branch of Chevy. They are Australian made but the motor is a chevy from America I think.
