Well I just aquired an 83 Honda 110 trike that is running but just needs some fine tuning with the carb or cleaned out. Anyway, I switched it to the high range and it did nothing and acted like it was in neutral. This is my first 110 so its new to me. The switched worked like it should but it didnt engage any gears. Is this a normal problem with 110's or is there something missing or broken? Any advice would be great. Oh I also need headlight, taillight and grab bar if anyone has one for an 83...........peace

are you sure the lever went all the way forward? a little trick i used sometimes when my 90 was a bugger to switch was, start it up, put the hi-lo switch in the middle then put the bike in first gear, then try and push the switch into high, if it girinds a bit back off, put the bike in neautral and then try and put it in again, they are buggers to get in becuse the teeth have to line up on the hi-low gears, if it still dont work, its only 4 screws to take the hi-low shifter off and see what the problem is. :)

I had the same problem. Here is what you do....put it in nuetral, rock the bike back and forth and push the lever all the way over.
