250sx ignition swap

Does anyone know how to take the original ignition out of the dash, I have a new ignition to put in but the old one doesnt want to come out, any help would be great, also the new igntion that I got is for a big red, I think the harness is different has anyone ever replaced theres with one, thanks again.

pretty simple, mine seized up about a month ago and i had to take it out.it should pop out the top with a little twisting and turning from undrneath,from there take the light off and disconnect three connections (1 big ,2 small i think, might just be 2)then pull on the ignition itself and guid the wires up through that hole too. as far as the big red one goes im not sure,it'll prob. work
