I just got off the phone with lrd and I'm getting a 310pv for my atc250r, this is all my trike needs to be totally tricked out. I spoke with him about 3 wheelers and he's gonna get back to me about making pipes for a tri-z, air and water 250r's, he said they have the molds for them, but nobody has asked about them and he doesn't know if they pipe builders are interested in making them. He's also gonna get back to me with a number of how many poeple are needed to make them(if they are interested in them).

Dammit!

How much for the 310pv kit and what all do you get with it?

I've been wanting the exact same thing. Probably a little out of my reach right now money wise though.

the guy said for it really to work right you need 38 a/s carb, rad valve or good reeds(I have a v-force), good pipe(atc-5) and if you are putting it in a atc the stock spark plug boot won't work. It cost $1995, esr sells them for $1695, but esr doesn't have any right now and lrd probably ports them better. it also comes with a cylinder head that you can change the domes, cylinder spacer, all 0-rings and gaskets and long stud kit. My own sugestion is to work on chassis and hanlding before the cylinder kit. I already did that, so now it time to work on the motor. The guy semaed very interested and he has a 84r also. I beleive you need to use race gas with it.

Heh, my 38mm Air Stryker just arrived like 10 minutes ago. Still have to order the V-force reeds. My pipe is borderline (fmf fatty).

I'm not racing MX on the thing though so not terribly concerned about the chassis. It's mostly been a desert bike but soon it's hopefully going to become a regular out at the dunes. I'm just a power junkie. :)

I was right though. A little too rich for me for the time being. Your bike is gonna rip though. Get us some vids or something. :beer

I can't wait to hear how your 310 pv performs. I am going to get an ESR 310 pv in a few months with TRX 9 porting. I'm in your situation also Deathman, I just need the cylinder. Over night that sucker, I cant wait to hear about it.

well, be prepared to wait for one from esr, they have been on back order for 2 months and the guy said it could be two weeks or two months and then they have to send them out for nickel sil, then port, so you're gonna be waiting. I originally wanted a 265, but lrd had a 310 that they had to port, the 265's still had to be sleeved and then ported. besides I've heard real good things about lrd's port jobs. I know bill balance used their 88/89 295 resleaves and he was kicking ass.

I just bought a drag pipe for my 1985 250r from FTZ racing. It is one bad looking pipe . I had them add an extra mount on the pipe. This will allow me to ride it a little on the trails. I am sure some people dont like the drag pipe because they stick out so far but for all out performance ill bet they cant be beat. Glenn
