OK here's what happening:

Idles great, starts 1-2 kicks cold. Assuming it has warmed; It will run great from low throttle to about mid-throttle then if you open it up past that it kind of flattens out and almost sounds like it would if it was too rich. I am running golden spectro 32:1 blend. I'm just not getting that "snap" at higher RPM's. Am I running too rich? I run my other one with that mixture and it runs fine. Seems like I missed a carb setting. Any ideas?

Where in MI? Have you done a plug chop?

do a plug chop, go full out in 4th or 5th hit the kill switch pull the clutch in and coast to a stop, then take the plug out and see what it looks like, it should be a nice paper bag brown, if it is sooty black or wet black it is too rich and if it is white it is way to lean, what size of main jet are you running?

I'm in the Kalamazoo area. I haven't done a plug chop. Sounds like this would be the first course of action.

if it is real cold over there you might just need to jet it up a little.the colder it is the more you want to jet up.
