awesome parts lot on ebay, someone could part all that out and make some cash., and have a few more projects too. liiks like a 250r frame and swingarm, and a front clip of a 250r for an atc conversion.

I wouldn't bid too much, lots of frames but frames are nothing. A few swingarms hey getting a little better but I'd say ehh.. $400 tops if I lived there. Funny thing is, stuff like that can go a lot higher than it's worth.
What say You?

I say it looks a little suspicious to have so many stripped down frames in a storage unit like that. If I make the guy an offer, I won't be handing over any cash until I check a few VINs.

Now you know where all those piece parts he sells on ebay came from. I'd bet ALL the GOOD STUFF is gone. Maybe I might hang those frames on my Xmas tree next year.

Hey Turbo, can you post us a pic of your Tiger? Dammit, If you win those, that would be sweet! I saw at least 5 sets of bars that would fit a big red among other parts.

I have bought handlebars off that guy before and picked them up personally. I met him at that storage unit. He even told me then that he was moving and doesn't want to move everything,so to keep an eye out on ebay cuz he'll be selling a big lot of stuff he's a nice guy and is totally legit.

I agree, he is a nice guy. I too bought from him a couple of times. Hmmm, I wonder which one of those skeletins I got my CalFab, Bassani, and Web-Cam from?

What do you guys think would be a fair offer for all this?

Knowing ebay it's gonna get bid up to the moon but who knows.

I could manage to store the whole thing here. :)

But if you pay too much you don't make your money back is the problem. Not after picking out what you want to keep anyway.

Any motors at all ??

Doesn't appear to be. Looks like the only thing of any value is the frames, a couple of 200x chassis with the suspension still there and a 250R rear end. The crates look like they have mostly junk in them. Old handle bars, beat up fenders and stuff like that. The wheels in the back might be good. Can't tell much from the pics.

i'de say if you could use something in it, and sell evreything in it, or just sell evreything, and could pick it up, i wouldnt pay any more than $800, i'de say you could sell evreything to someone and end up with about$1200 or so, but i cant see evreything thats there, but it would be fun just to have and use for creating a super custom trike w/ that bike motor in it.

I just looked at it again, and there is a ton if stuff in there, looks like a rolling chassis of a 200x or something on the right, and a quadframe up front, if i was in Arizona near him, i'de buy that and have a feild day.

Just got back from checking it out in person. The 10 or so boxes/crates (really just rubbermaid tubs) have almost entirely junk in them. Not worth anything. About the only things in those that I spotted that could be useful was what I'm pretty sure was a 350x swinger, a set of 250R triples and a set of 1984 200x forks. A few sets of handlebars and footpegs and then just misc junk (broken plastics, messed up seats, that sort of thing). What's in the pics is really pretty much what you get. No hidden gems unfortunately. Only a couple of the wheels in the back have rims. Mostly just tires.

I might place a bid if the price doesn't raise too high but knowing ebay, it probably will. If it goes over $700 he might have the winning bidder show up and then back out when he sees what he really got.

The only thing I would have wanted out of it all was one of the 250R frames (assuming one was a 1986, the one I could get too easily was a 1985) and one of those 200x chassis. I would have to sell the rest which would be kind of a pain.

The 250R rear end in the pic is definitely off an '85 also.

Edit: by the way, this guy is the manager of that storage facility. Somebody actually left all that there (and a whole lot more, the good stuff has already been sold). I wouldn't be surprised if at least some of it is hot. He said he hasn't check the vins on those frames. I didn't see any with the numbers grinded down though so they may not be. Who knows.

So is anyone on this site bid'n on, or going to bid on this stuff? Don't wanna bid war anyone if theyre already interested... I'd be willing to split it with someone localy too, I think.....

Only way I will is if the price doesn't get too high. It isn't worth what I think it will get up to. A lot of that stuff will end up in the trash in my opinion.

Not worth the drive for me. You can have it all. I hear steel is bringing a pretty penny at the at the junk yard. I wonder how much he made on the parts he sold? Tens of thousands?? What a shame. Ten more rides bite the dust.......... Forever
