Do a search.... I searched "250R pics" and got 17 pages of links to check out! 400+ threads! I then edited to a "air* 250R pics" and got 30 threads to check out for you! Below are the highlights.....

There's another post right now going on about air cooled R pics....
http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=29497&highlight=250R+pics

and there was another one like a month or 2 ago....
http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=27242&highlight=250R+pics

and another one from last summer....

BlazerOne22's R's... my favorites...

This one's a classic "old school" thread.... but the pics didn't make the transition....

Somewhere there's a thread from Vintagemotorsports of a 82R resto....oh here it is....

azhondagrl--are those 20" holeshots on 8" rims? I'm picking up an '84 and thinking about tires right now (for the stock rims)

Yep its head resistant, they can do gold, black, and other finishes also. here's a link to the shop I used. You can ship it there and have it done. just make sure all the rubber parts are taken off. they can do almost anything. and you don't need to do any prepwork. the tank off the 82 was done with this also. I think he charged me 135.00 for the pipe and silencer. here;s a link. http://www.finishlinecoatings.com/

blazerone22 the first R looks killer, how do you like the hi-flite seat? I was thinking of getting one but not sure.

I like them, not to crazy about the looks of it on the 82R though. but my rear loves it. I think they look better on a 350x. I've never seen one on a TRI Z.

ive never seen one a Tri Z either. Nice looking 350x, I like it alot, and also think the hi-flite looks better on the X than the R.

Blazer..... the Desert seat and fins look good on your 350X.... but they looked much better on the "banned and nameless" 400X project bike... however... his 400X project trike rear fenders and speedo do look good on the "Showgirl"... :naughty:

Josh.... Maybe I'll get my Hi-Flite seat on my 82R soon.... I think it'll be OK with my IMS plastic tank. (4 gallon tank) The stock tank is so tiny, I think that's what makes the safety seat look so awkward. Mine is black with "250R" on the side.

One day I'll tear the old 350x down and do a rebuild. I have a new motor waiting for it when it gets tired. But the old one just keeps on chuggin strong. I wish I had a speedo for the x. I'm curious how many miles I put on that bike a year.
