Sold some stuff now and I finally have the funds to start the teardown/build. This is a picture of the bike the day i brought it home. Not to pretty but it will come around. Motor and tranny are in great shape. EVERY bearing needs to be replaced. I am tearing this down and powder coating the frame and other pieces to the stock silver color. I'll post more pics as I go along. Enjoy!

Boy, if that bike could talk, I'll bet it would have stories to tell.

Humm nice bike.... looks better than the first one I started with.

Are you the guy that I lost the Tecate fork assembly to last night on ebay?

I was on the phone and forgot all about the auction :(

The motor is out and its down to the frame. Needs to be degreased again and then its time for a trip to the powder coat shop for a blast and bake session. I am going with the stock silver color on the frame and peices unless someone has a better paint scheme to offer.

You need to ditch them rear tires. Some razrs or somthing would look nice on it.

Blue frames look nice on those Tecates. Matches the seat and boots.

Can you even still find brand new plastics for these?
