Hey guys, I just ordered the Honda seat stencil for my seat and was wondering what would be the best white paint to use for this? I'm not sure if there is a paint specifically made for vinyl....thanks.

A vinyl upholstery paint (from an auto parts store) might work, but the stencil better stick well to the seat or you'll end up with a mess when the paint bleeds through the grooves in the vinyl.

I've used Krylon Fusion on vinyl before and it has held up great. And yes, make sure the stencil sticks tight to the seat. Light coats are the key.

Just use a 4inch paintbrush and some white house paint. Should look real sharp. :naughty:
Just kidding. Sounds like you got some good tips Pat. Good luck. :beer

Clay, LOL, I was just about to light you up for your helpful advice, but then I realized that you were joking. I'd be willing to bet that there's quite a few board members that have tried that very same technique though.

to get a clean laser line you need to first coat with a color to match your seat. what this will do is bridge the gaps that might be there between the stencil and the seat. that way all the seepage that can occur will be plugged or filled up.
then feel free to paint away with the color you choose for your lettering. then when you pull the stencil, LAZER LINES
that is how to get a graphic line
