how hard is it to change the clutch with a clutch kit?? how time consuming

Its pretty easy if you have the manual and takes about an hour or 2.

$40 to $80 depending on if you go with a HD or regular clutch. Its not that tuff. I did my first ever a few months back. Sholdnt take but a hour or two. The only part you have to be carefull of his lining up the cam follower on the inside of the case. Its part of the kickstarter assembly. Get a new gasket before you start. THey are still available. If your mechanically inclined at all you can do it. Wasnt that tough. :beer Auto clutch is a little tougher from what I have read.

its a 83 and me and my dad r gonna do it hes a diesel mechanic and im pretty much donin evething in small engines. he did a clutch on his buell last year so he should know lol or ill try it

you will need a 8mm tbar and a 10mm thats it
and a gasket...you dont need to pull the basket out you know
