Could you please pop off your fenders and measure the approximate distance from the center of one mount hole to the other mount hole? I have modified whats there and I need that spec so I can begin mounting a Blaster shock I won on ebay. Maybe if it works well I could hook others up with a sorta mass produced lower mount. Top mount looks close, no resevoir to deal with and the bottom mount can easily be ground away and replaced. It is time to put all my spare parts to work and finally have a nice rear boinger!

D.C.- I measure 14" center to center on my '85 sx (could be alittle sag there) Just got 350x shock from e-bay auction (it measures 14.75 c to c w/o Y mounting bracket) Haven't tried to mount it yet. Let me know how that Blaster shock works out.

Sooooouppa, thanks guys!! The Blaster shock measures 15" on centers. Now I will try to duplicate close to the angle in the Blaster as I have to make my own mount for the bottom. The Blaster shock is a little wider at the bottom. Hey thes shocks are like 25$ on Ebay from all the guys who upgrade! This may be a hot setup! Anything is better than the stock pogo :-D
