have u made sure its getting fuel? if not check all trailprotrailpro gas lines and make sure nothing is clogging the lines..and if you have the switch for the tank on the on position instead of off..also if u have an inline filter take it off and connect the hose directly from the tank to the carb..half the time this is the issue of not getting fuel..if your getting a good spark and fuel maybe trailprotrailpro pulse rotor moved 180 degrees..does it backfire or anything? if it does take off the part on trailprotrailpro top end that says cdi on the left side of your engine..takeoff the plate and the bolt that holds the rotor on..turn the rotor 180 degrees and put back on then put the plate on and cover and see what happens..hope u have some luck
is the spark plug wet after pulling the motor over after a while?....check your petcock(fuel tap) and see if there is any rust or crap in your tank first.

the spark plug is not really wet but it smelled like gas like the old one did.....We just replaced it. Also.....I had to adjust the float...Could that be the problem??? I think I might be getting fuel but not enough....thanks....

This is how I had to get mine going the first time I started it when I first bought it. It was sitting in a guy's back yard forever. No matter how much I pulled, it would not start. I hooked it up to the back of my truck with a tow strap. Then I had my buddy drive the truck about 5-10 mph. I rode on the 3-wheeler with it in 2nd gear and had him pull me up and down the road. I had to play with the choke and throttle a lot. After about ten minutes, she fired up. It has never had a problem starting since.

Off the subject, but, how "little" is your little girl? I'm not trying to be nosey or anything (more concerned, really), but a 185s is a lot of machine for a "little" girl. Heck, I'm 34 years old and 250 lbs and I even get bucked off of that thing sometimes. A stock 185s will do close to 50mph with full grown adult on it. Probably around 55mph with a "kid" on it. Just something to think about.

We live out in the country and everyone has them out here so she really wanted one ....so we thought we would buy one big enough for her to ride on it with us at first to see if she is even going to like them or not......

take air cleaner off, squirt some gas in carb and see if it fires up. If it does, fuel delivery is the problem.
I can't believe none of these guys suggested that.

We took the air cleaner off and squirted some gas in carb. Now we don't even have any spark....we grounded the spark plug and there is no spark now. I tried what you said and we are getting gas because my hand did end up wet... Could the spark plug wire be bad??? It is a brand new plug...

Got It Started....yeah.....but Haven't Rode It Yet...
if the problem presists after this, you may want to check your stator with an ohms meter..it could be weak causing the hard starts, the stator/flywheel are a common weak spot on the honda 4 stroke 200/185's

Check to make sure you have a good seal at the intake manifold on engine side and also on carb side. Make sure there are no cracks in the manifold, it should be a slightly flexible piece with molded rubber insert inside of it and a black rubber coating on the outside. The outer coating may have a crack at the flex point causing an air leak. If you have this condition you can patch the rubber coating with some perm-a-gasket that stays flexible.

sounds like you sprayed to much fuel in and fouled you plug...what is your float hight set at right now? take a peice of clear hose small enough to fit on the little tang on the bottom of the carb and un'do the drain screw. make sure u hold the hose up to the side of the carb. it shoudl come up to the top of the bowl...

i built my bike its a 86 200s out of junked parts let me tell u i had to deal with so many problems. I would say to take the carb off check the timing all the connections are connected and the ground is grounded and spray starter fluid or drip some gas in the intake and see if it starts if it has compression, spark, gas/starterfluid, and the sparks on time it should start its more than likely going to be some stupid minor detail that u over looked. It could be the boot test the ohms in the boot ignition coil and wire that could be it right there and make sure the switch is on the run position

We checked everything again and it is def getting enough fuel....however we are thinking that spark might be the problem.....you can see it when it starts to get dark....it is a little thin blue line......
there is a little crack on the gasket so that can fix the idle problem but now.....once again it is not running...

Do a search on 200s spark problems see what others did
