 Yesterday I went to my inlaws for x-mas and a day of riding. When I got there everyone was riding including my father inlaw who was on my 83 250r (which he had already went over the bars into the fence before I had arrived). No biggie since I flipped his 88 250r earlier this year and seperated my shoulder. Bick was fine so I geared up and went out for a ride came back to eat and my father in law took it out this time threw sum mudd (which by the way I have no air box) and stalled it. He had no luck starting it so he decided too pull it back w/ his sons 200s, andd pull started it then flew down the road till it bogged and died. Needless to say when it got to me it didn't look good.
I got it home 2-nite compression was @ 20 psi so I pulled the head to find smoked piston, rings, wrist bearing, and a crankcase coated w/ mudd. Guess I'm gonna have to split the cases to clean it out and check the rod and crank bearings. I guess that one way to get me back for crashing his, but @ least it still ran when I was done.
Luckily I have another fresh bottom end I just built, needs seals, and top end rebuild to get her up again while I tear this one down to fix. Wish me luck and Hope u all had a better x-mas!!!!!!
